An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares bout them," reads the Boys & Girls Club of Salem, MA homepage. Promoting and enhancing the development and the well-being of young boys and girls in the community is the core priority of their organization. But creating and sustaining this positive environment always takes some help along the way. Celebrating and encouraging youth has also been one of the main priorities of Pinnovative Designs, quickly deciding to take part in raising efforts and awareness for the Salem Boys & Girls Club in the upcoming Salem Cocktail Competition on May 4th. Pinnovative Designs of Newburyport, MA has sought a more creative alternative to fundraising promotional standards, using pins as their message-delivering vehicle. Their focus has been on what they call, "pinning hopes", and helping raise money for fundraisers and non-profits through the sales of their custom designed sneaker pins. Their main target of course being youth services and "pinning hopes" on building kids' self-esteem and promoting healthy development. "I wake up each day knowing I am making a difference in children's lives," said E.J. Hughes, a branch director for the Boys & Girls Club. Now everyone in the community can have their own part in shaping the youth of Salem, with the help of Pinnovative Designs. About Pinnovative Designs: Pinnovative Designs creates custom designed interactive pins that are used by corporations to support their non-profit partners, or by non-profits to raise funds through community building events. Pinnovative has also created "It's Cool To Care" program to benefit the Newburyport Youth Services. These backpack pins provide inspirational messages for activities kids love. |
